Successful Leader.

Leadership is one of the main subjects that the world in reading because there are different leadership characteristics been identified by the researchers in the world. People search for successful leaders all over the world.

Behind in every organization, there are successful leaders who guide towards the success and being the powerful and visionary source. They always understand how to and when to drive the organization and its people towards the goal.

The proactiveness and effective responsiveness to change has become the key components of the successful leadership (Kathleen Reardon, et al, 1998).

Some experts highlighted that leaders must be flexible and capable of adapting to new condition, open to novel conditions and must be willing to take the risk (Kotter, 1990)

Effective leaders are always beyond the Managers. There are different traits and skills incur in leadership roles. Leaders have the right combination of charisma and enthusiasm to achieve the organization's goals. Some people say it’s a gifted skill and the leaders are born with those, but with the time and practices anyone can learn and sharpened the leadership traits (Patel, 2017)

There are 11 traits skills for a successful leader. They are,

1.      Self-Managing – being able to prioritize goals and accomplish the objectives

2.      Acting Strategically- always prepared and able to capture emerging opportunities

3.      Being an Effective Communicator – knows when to talk and when to listen

4.      Being Accountable and Responsible-take responsibility to own mistakes and expect others to              do the same

5.      Setting Clear Goals and Persisting in Achieving them

6.      Having a Vision for the Future- managing change with stability and growth

7.    Managing Complexity- make decisions under any condition with problem-solving

8.    Fostering Creativity and Innovation- the courage to risk experiments and encourage creativity

9.    Team Building and promoting Teamwork – Strong teams and teamwork can achieve any goal

10.  Creating Lasting Relationship – effective at Networking

11. Learning Agility – adopt to suddenly changing circumstances

These Leadership styles approach differently from Trait and Skills. To identify this clearly there were three main studies were done.

Conclusion

We all know APPLE is the most successful organization, we all know Martin Luther King fights for the rights of the USA, we all know Right Brothers figure out the successful flight for the first time in the world. But why they are different from the others? In any organization, Leadership matters the most and because of that some organizations succeed and some not, but why? Every organization in the world knows WHAT they do, some organization know HOW they do it, very few organization knows WHY they do it (Sinek, 2009). But regardless of the industry or its size, some organizations succeed with inspired leadership. That leadership knows why they do it, how they do it and what they do. This inside out successful leadership was the reason for it.
